Prior to Burgess, Mary Altieri obtained a vast knowledge base of reimbursement methodologies in both the payer and hospital markets. Her experience includes hospital finance management for the Connecticut Hospital Association, product management for Ingenix and lead reimbursement specialist for HSS, Inc. Throughout her career, Mary has demonstrated a passion for learning and education. This desire led her to callings that extend beyond the healthcare industry, including teaching and actuarial work.

Mary holds a BS in Mathematics from the University of Notre Dame and a MA in Curriculum and Instruction from Fairfield University.
