Donna Dymon joined BurgessGroup with more than 25 years of combined experience as a policy analyst and nurse consultant for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services in San Francisco.

Most recently, Donna served as chief policy analyst for CMS San Francisco on Medicare Part A, B and D. Her specific areas of expertise include end-stage renal disease (ESRD), hospital outpatient, home health, long-term care and hospice provider types, as well as Medicare Prescription Drug Program.

Throughout her career, Donna led many efforts in Medicare education and compliance. She created and executed outreach programs to educate providers and communities about how to adapt to and comply with the 2006 changes to Medicare Prescription Drug Coverage. While the lead nurse consultant for CMS San Francisco home health and hospice programs, she developed and delivered numerous trainings on Medicare compliance issues for state agency employees.

A sought-after Medicare expert, Donna has delivered speeches to regional and national audiences on Medicare ESRD and Transplant policy and served as a Medicare liaison to health care professionals at association conferences and meetings.
