- Pricing by ZIP Code
Part A
- Claims priced in accordance with the Skilled Nursing Facility Prospective Payment System (SNF PPS)
- Per diem Resource Utilization Group (RUG) based payment
- For past years, payment is a blend of a federal component and a facility-specific component
- Wage index adjustment to the per diem rate
- AIDS add-on adjustment
Part B
- Claims priced under multiple independent payment rules using, in particular, the RBRVS fee schedule, the drug fee schedule and the lab fee schedule
- Revenue codes used to determine coverage
- RBRVS professional/technical indicator used to determine coverage and payment rules
